Healthy Chicken Sloppy Joes

Sloppy Joes are always a delicious and easy dinner for family night or a large group.  Here's a chicken friendly version that keeps the taste buds sizzling.


Ingredients


Meat
·         1 lb Ground beef

Produce
·         1/2 cup Carrot
·         1/2 cup Celery
·         2 cloves Garlic
·         1 (19 ounce) can Kidney beans
·         1/2 cup Onion

Condiments
·         1/4 cup Ketchup
·         1 tbsp Mustard
·         2 cups Tomato sauce
·         1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Baking & Spices
·         2 tbsp Brown sugar
·         2 tbsp Gochujang
·         1 Salt and pepper

Oils & Vinegars
·         1 tbsp Olive oil
·         1 tbsp Red wine vinegar

Bread & Baked Goods

·         4 Hamburger buns

      Cook ground beef until done and crumbly.  Dice produce and add to ground beef.  Mix, condiments, spices, oils, and vinegar together in a bowl.  Pour into meat and veggie mixture.  Cook until veggies are tender.  Serve with hamburger buns.
