Budget Meal Ideas for June 5th - June 11th

Aldi Grocery Store

As I go through the posts, I am seeing a reoccuring theme.  Many of you love Aldi's for grocery shopping!  We don't have one here but I have been to visit one in Oklahoma in a trip.  Interesting place.  Since we have so many people interested in it, I went looking and found a book recommendation to help you with shopping at Aldi's: Almost All ALDI: Shopping and Meal Planning Around Sales and Seasons.  Hopefully some of you will find this helpful if you are big Aldi shoppers.  I did really love the price of the freezer goods.  I also bought some clothes and specialty foods there, too.  I don't recall the refrigerator goods prices so can't provide an opinion there.\

Spices

Mmmm, nothing is quite as good plain as when it has a little spice to it.  I thought some of these suggestions looked fantastic for how to flavor chicken and other meats.  The Everglades Heat had a number of people that recommended it. To save some money, the TIGER SAUCE and KITCHEN BOUTQUET BROWNING AND SEASONING SAUCE are 5 and 6 PACKS, which is much cheaper per bottle that way.  Find a friend or two to split it with!
