Thanksgiving Dinner on a Budget



Thanksgiving is next week! Are you ready? Have you planned out your scrumptious dinner yet? If not, here are some ideas to get the creative cooking juices flowing. I'm probably anticipating the good food way more than I should be!

That being said, we are still on a tight budget for Thanksgiving dinner this year. Consequently, I went looking for some videos and ideas on how to make good food that won't break the bank. I LOVE ham and we happen to have one in the freezer that was given to us, so that is on the list.

However, I also don't want to spend days in the kitchen prepping, cooking, and serving food. So, I went browsing on Amazon for some ideas of how to whip dinner together a little faster this year. These are some deals I found and ALL PRODUCTS ARE OVER 70% OFF! I already have the whisks and absolutely love them so had to share. I'm seriously tempted to ask my husband to buy me the Sterline Spiral Vegetable Slicer for my upcoming birthday.

Budget Meal Recipes for June 12th - June 18th

Bals Lentil Cookies I hope everyone has had a great week!  Here in the U.S., Sunday was Father's Day, a day known for great grilling and feeding dad his favorite foods. My husband lucked out and his sister had made his favorite dessert, peanut butter bars, for the potluck Father's Day dinner.  I'm thankful for the time we get to spend with family and enjoy good food together! Small Brown Lentils Every week as I go through and find the recipes on the Facebook group I end up thinking I shouldn't be doing this around lunch time.  There are so many yummy looking recipes! I'm so excited to see what other people make and try new things.  My husband is absolutely loving this group as I'm finally, after almost 20 years of marriage, branching out more in the cooking area.  Thank you for being there for each other, everyone!
